Our default evidence hierarchy is manufacturer product pages, manuals and support documentation first; independent standards and credible technical sources second; retailer copy only when a primary source is unavailable and the limitation is disclosed.

Specification rules

• Record model-specific values, not family-level assumptions.
• Preserve units and test conditions where manufacturers provide them.
• Do not treat horsepower as a complete cooling-performance metric.
• Separate empty weight, water weight and published filled weight.
• Do not fabricate measured noise, energy use or cooldown data.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate approval never changes the factual criteria used in comparisons. Tracked URLs remain inactive until the merchant relationship and exact link are verified.
